Went here with my husband, brother, his wife and my nephews. It was a nice relaxing walk to the lighthouse and the trail was nice. It was disappointing because everything was locked up when we got to the lighthouse. I would guess it's always that...More

it's a little over 6/10th of a mile to the lighthouse. Parking is limited so it might take some time to get a spot. Walk the water trail back for some different scenery.

The state park has been revving up their advertising for the Lighthouse- great, right? No, not great. There is a small parking lot that fits about 20 cars that is used for the Lighthouse trail, if the lot is full a park ranger will let...More

It was a decent walk/hike to the Turkey Point Lighthouse. The path was mostly pebble covered. Some ups and downs but not strenuous. The parking was lacking the day we were there. Not enough spaces for the amount of sightseer's. This could have been just...More

This is one of all time favorite go to places. Beautiful trails, never really too busy, trails offer open fields and woods plus speechless views of the Chesapeake Bay. I often take a journal and will write and no shortage of unique wildlife.

Haven't spent much time at the park with the exception of the 1833 lighthouse I've visited on a few occasions. On this visit, it was very foggy and one couldn't even see the water of the bay. It gave the lighthouse a very mysterious look....More

Hello, I want to book a rustic cabin for 4 nights in late June. Are there any recommended cabins with the best views and privacy? Many thanks! Helen.

Call the park and ask if the rustic cabins are even available. Last I heard that loop was closed for the season for renovations. I have stayed in two of them. With the wild growth you won't have a direct water view, but... More

I'm confused about the beach fees. Is Friday considered a weekday or weekend? Would be a difference between $5 and $15...

I actually got my own answer. Friday is the weekday fee, per car, not per person.
