It's a great place for a walk with a bunch of special features from a tennis court, an adjacent Nature Center with many of its own trails, the F Scott Fitzgerald theatre and an adjacent old cemetery with some interesting local history.

Went here for a family photo session. Very quiet, and lots of potential places for really great kids/family photos. Would consider coming back on my own... very peaceful and picturesque place.

Rockville, MD is a great place to raise a family and the civic center park is another great example of why. Another free activity that is family oriented and your kids will enjoy.

There is so much to do. With children you can begin at the playground, and then head to the nature center

It's very well maintained, beautiful grounds; easy free parking; sledding on the grounds when it snows in the winter. My brother and sister-in-law had their wedding reception there and it was charming!
