There is a kayak launch area at the end of the boat ramps. There is no fee for kayaks unless the kayak is motorized. The lady manning the marina was nice and friendly. You can park your vehicle next to the kayak launch area. The...More

The Solomons Boat Ramp and fishing pier is a beautiful waterfront area. We were down to look at a boat and drive over to see the waterfront.

The restaurant has also an outside area, located right at the end of the pier, meaning you are sitting above the water. Nice breeze, friendly service, good food. They are specialized in crabs, this is an experience one must try. It does not come cheap.

small pier in solomons along the water, not a whole lot on it, an ice cream place that is good and a few shops, good for an evening sit or stroll along the water

Like all fishing experiences, you catch some and you lose some. I like this location. You just gotta know what you're doing when out there.

Solomon's Boat Ramp is a nice place to fish or watch other people fish. It's a very laid back and calm place. I recommend walking the boards and maybe negotiating dinner from a local fisherman.

I went here on a weeknight in autumn. The view is really cool. There's a little paved trail next to a wetland area that I was able to take some good fall foliage pictures from. There was trash back there, though, which was lame.

We used this ramp this past weekend. Staff were extremely friendly and the ramp price was fair. They have snack, ice, and fishing lures too. Cheers, CB

I didn't see it myself. I have seen people crab off of Buzz's Mariana a little further down south closer to Point Lookout.

It's free. It's also free to launch your kayak. To launch your boat it costs $5.
