While I have never been in the actual house the Grounds are beautiful especially in the Fall. I believe the house is only open for special occasions like Weddings and so forth. It is hugely popular for Weddings and when you g,o and can see why. There are numerous spots that are picture perfect. At the back of the house... More

A beautiful old house with well maintained gardens, surrounded by fields and woods. Although the house itself is not open to the public every day, there is ample opportunity for walking and photography. Well worth the challenge of Route 138.

Wonderful property at the foot of Blue Hill! Over 50 acres of wooded trails and open fields. Many specimen trees and shrubs. Particularly abundant Azaleas and Rhododendrons . A wonderful formal garden featuring fountains and an array of seasonal flowers. The formal Federal brick hose is magnificent! Attended a fun event today ( a tomato tasting provided by their own gardens and Brookfield CSA) It was a pleasant way to spend a summer day in a beautiful setting, meeting new people, while sipping cold drinks and playing croquet on the side lawn. Check the TTOR website for Fall schedule of events at the Bradley estate.

Not many people go to the Bradley Estate, but it has some nice peaceful trails and it is right off the highway on Route 138. Always plenty of parking and dog friendly.

A very nice little farmstead with a beautiful mansion. Did not visit inside but did walk the gardens. There are trails that extend out quite a ways and those are probably the best feature of the property. We came because this figured on a list of a great place to picnic in Boston. We ultimately did not picnic but walked... More

You will walk up to the house, the flower garden in back and the woods and fields on the side. Deer tick infested and no bathrooms. The house is only open when rented for a function. Dogs allowed. And it is free.

We live nearby and decided to take an afternoon stroll here. I read about the grounds and offerings online, and once I visited I was deeply disappointed. Granted - the House and grounds directly surrounding the house were immaculate. What a spectacular view. However, that is where the greatness ended. As we parked, I picked up a map of the... More
