called the BEAST (Berkshire EAST lol) really a pussycat inexpensive when compared to others in southern Vermont Here you get what you pay for spring for the extra $$ and go another hour north

This is a smaller mountain, and very family friendly. Lift lines were almost non existent. The trails are challenging enough with many options and skill levels. If you want something more economical and less crowded, this ski mountain is a great alternative to southern VT.

A wonderful small family friendly ski mountain. No lines and friendly staff make for a great family ski day. Totally manageable with young and new skiers.

Fun and reasonably priced. However, some of the beginners trails were not beginners at all! Not cool. I would not recommend for kids starting out. The bunny slope is fine but past that I would call the green ones way past intermediate.

Thanks for your comments. FYI we are cutting an additional 2.5 mile beginner trail from the top of the mountain. It will mimic Outback and Roundabout.

The above comment is correct its a transition time in this area, may be better to wait a little longer closer to late spring.
