I came up to Zoar on June 25th to try out their kayaking tours and could not have been more impressed. My initial nervousness was quickly dashed knowing I was taking my trip with such courteous professionals. The guides: Molly, and in particular, Karla had me feeling like I've been doing this all my life, yet it was my very... More

We went on the Zoar Gap white water rafting. According to our guide the dam had been open the entire trip. It was classified as a Level II Level III adventure. Not very exciting more like a river ride.

Thanks for your feedback on your Zoar Gap rafting trip. As you point out, it's a mostly class II raft trip with one class III rapid. We try to be clear on our website and over the phone that it's a beginner trip with one intermediate-level rapid. It's our most popular trip, but the Dryway is class III and IV... More

Well organized, beautiful trip along the river. We saw some nice big birds, loved the swim and the nature. Ideal for those who want to take it easy for a few hours. The kids loved it and now they seem more ready for the "real" rafting experience.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the float trip. It's a fun way to enjoy an afternoon, especially with young kids. Hope to see you again on our Zoar Gap trip for the next step up the ladder or on our Dryway trip for our most exciting rafting experience. More

Our trip to Zoar was a grandparent gift to 13 year old grandson (his request). First and foremost, Zoar has excellent safety instructions and video guides that walk you through their activities and includes many necessary safety tips. All the instructor/guides were knowledgeable, friendly but more important serious about safety. They assisted with equipping us with life vests and helmets... More

Did the zip line for our 13 and 15 year old, slept in the cabin tents, and did the kayak tour the next day. Everybody had a great time, and their staff is very professional!

We spent the morning zip lining the 11 lines, crossing the 2 walking bridges and lowering ourselves down the 3 rappel lines and it was so much more exciting and well-run than we expected! We had been zip lining in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic before with our kids but this experience beat both of those not only for... More

My girlfriend took me ziplining here for my birthday and I loved every minute of it. 11 ziplines, two bridges, and a few times repelling down from the tree. It was a perfect course with a good variety on length and uniqueness for each run. Loved the one where you can land on the ground like Mary Poppins and the... More

We were well looked after from booking to activity. The staff were friendly and professional and we had the most fantastic time! Our stay in the lodge an th recommendations for places to eat were spot on. The zipping was through the trees and gradually increased in difficulty/speed and was so much fun we wanted to do it again. Thanks... More
