Find most of this area between Dennisport and West Dennis. From Lower Co.Rd, to Rt.28 (Main St.) and runs to Nantucket Sound. Upper area Pond is by Clancey's Restaurant and the River area is by Swan River Seafood Restaurant (Rt. 134 corner). Enjoy Cruising, Paddle boats, Kayaking and canoeing, SUP's, crabbing/fishing. Also view from park benches at vantage points on... More

Here's a good on: right on 6A. Rent a kayak, paddle boat. Paddle up/down the Swan Pond river. Gentle current. Great warm weather activity. Easy parking.

Been to this boat rental place a couple times- my parents first brought me here when I was 13, back then I remember this place was a sanctuary! This year I was so surprised that it is still running and I must stay that there are a lot of improvements. Staff are very friendly- the foreigner staff that they have... More

I suppose this review will be a bit biased but this is one of my favorite places. I grew up on South Village Road Beach in West Dennis. It's where the mouth of the river opens into Nantucket Sound. It was a great place for children to play and explore the rocks of the jetty.

We were in Cape Cod, and one of my boys wanted to go kayaking. There were very few rental places still open, but Cape Cod Waterways was open, and only 10 minutes away from where we were staying, so we ended up kayaking on the Swan Pond River, up to Swan Pond (the Swan Pond in Dennis, by Route 134).... We were looking for an easy, but not totally trivial place to canoe. We chose this place pretty randomly after looking in TripAdvisor and it turned out to be the highlight of the vacation. The outfit is extremely well run and professional with a good safety mindset, the canoes and kayaks are in great condition - I'm sure you could... More

I wanted to review Cape Cod Waterways but couldn't find it. We rented a double kayak for $34 for 1.5 hrs and mentioned online coupon for extra 1/2 hour. We're advised to go up to swan pond and LOVED it, relaxing. In retrospect, my husband and I are pretty fit and wished we had gone to the ocean. Either way,... More

My wife and I have very different extents of experience in kayaks. I have spent 20 years in white water including the Alps, Zambezi and White Nile. In contrast, my better half has a fear of water. To my amazement, this trip was her suggestion (I suspect sunstroke :-) ). We hired kayaks from right on route 28 by the... More

We kayaked toward the beach and had an exhilarating afternoon. I don't think we laughed this much on any of the other activities that we did. To rent a kayak, we went to a place right on rt 28. The people we very reassuring and confident that we would not tip over as this was the first time we had... More
