Just back from the four day Walls of Jerusalem experience with Tas Ex. The hiking was fantastic, with stunning vistas, beautiful terrain, lakes and tarns, and three challenging summits. The gear was excellent quality and held up under all weather. The camping facilities were great, the food was tasty and hearty (thumbs up for the apple crumble with custard) and... More

Can not recommend highly enough using Tasmanian Expeditions. I did the track with my son for his 13th Birthday. Like other people have said the price seemed steep at first but what we get is great value, superior expertise and great food on the track. Everything about our guides, Will and Oscar was professional. The debrief the day before to... More

I recently went on the Overland Track with Tasmanian Expeditions and thought the experience was superb. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. The equipment were of high quality. Interval food drop was very nice, and cut down on the amount of food we need to carry. From beginning to end, everything went smoothly. An extra was... More

We recently did the nine-day Franklin River rafting trip with Tas Expeditions and despite low river levels and plenty of challenging, hard slog portage, the experience was fantastic. Our three guides, Jordy, Sam and Abigail were incredibly professional, capable, personable, and great cooks to boot. We felt entirely safe in their hands. It was such a privilege to see first... Our trip with Tasmanian adventures took in the Mole Creek Caves and the Cradle Mountain National Park. We stayed in the park itself and then at the outstanding Lemonthyme lodge. Our guides Oscar and Holly were cheerful, helpful, well informed and professional. The highlight of the trip was the ascent of Cradle Mountain which on a perfect day was spectacular.... More

Dear Steve – Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. It is a shame we didn’t get 5 stars but we do understand why. At the time you booked we did have a new member on our team, who unfortunately didn’t work out for reasons you have outlined in your review. We sincerely apologise for that but are... More

Had a great 6 days walking the Cradle Mountain track with 2 guides and 9 other walkers - all in tents with Tasmanian Expeditions. Admittedly we had great weather - only rained one day as we wondered through an enchanted rainforest. A wonderful group, extremely well led by Will and Vincent who created a real team atmosphere and one of... More

I personally am not an avid hiker (read this as walking is for suckers). That has all changed I am now frothing to do more walks. We had the best guides we could have hoped for. Simon and Mitch (mick) were exceptional. It has been a long time since I have smiled and laughed constantly for 6 days. The food... More

Great trip with lots of variety in activity. The locations visited were great - extremely memorable and uniquely Tasmanian. We wouldn't change a thing! The trip adequately also catered for different fitness levels (and diets). In addition to a well planned trip, we had fantastic guides - Lilly and Brenton. The trip could not have been as enjoyable without the... More

This 6 day hike was nothing short of remarkable. Fantastic scenery, wonderful company, delicious food, challenging terrain and most importantly an unforgettable journey thanks to the constant input and care from our knowledgeable guides. Thanks Will and Vincent from the bottom of my heart. Highlights: Wild wombats, swimming holes and pristine water falls.
