Many movies are made here, it's almost commonplace. When you walk down the jetty you forget all about what's behind you. It is a little tricky to find, that's the only draw-back. I was going to rate this 4-stars, but my mind went back to the experience and I couldn't do it. The sea, the sailboats, the seagulls, the fish...... More

Wow! Out at the end of Eastern Point. You can walk the Dog Bar Breakwater or fish or do both. Brought my now 42 year old son to start him on his love of fishing.

A fun experience and a good chuckle to boot! We drove by several "private road", "residents only" , "members only", etc. signs fearing for our life most of the way to the lighthouse to be greeted by a PARKING LOT for those sinners like us who scoffed at the threats to come to this area. After wiping the sweat beads... More

A bit run-down and the chain-link fence surrounding the lighthouse and its accompanying buildings does detract from the overall effect a bit, but this is still a lovely lighthouse to see, especially from the water. If you wish to get a closer look, be warned that you'll be disobeying some road signs. On the advice of a local, I drove... More

We plant to travel there to see this nice lighthouse but was impossible. We met only prohibitions! It was impossible to park or to get closer becasue every road is private! Till now I do not know how to go there to see it, but from far it looks nice.

It was extremely difficult to find our way, with every obstacle you can imagine, including "do not enter", "private road, residents only" signs posted just where you need to go ! $10 parking fee when you get there and no facilities. NIce view if you can find it, no easy path.

We went looking for a good picnic spot, not to see the lighthouse. We turned back due to all the "private entrance" signs, but the hotel we stayed at assured us the road was open to the public, so we went back. There were only two other cars at the parking area, which is on property owned by the Massachusetts... More

You can't really tour the lighthouse itself, just look at it. The real draw here is walking out on the Dog Bar Breakwater to get a great view of the Harbor. Along the way you'll pass folks fishing. It's a nice walk and a must do. During the summer you may have to pay to park as this is Audobon... More

While on our trip up the east coast to see lighthouses, the Eastern Point Lighthouse was at the top of my list! I've seen it so many times in photography that I wanted to see it in person. So we programmed the address into the GPS of our phone..... Unfortunately, as we were following the GPS directions, we kept seeing... More

You will go past a security guard - just tell him you want to see the lighthouse - no problem. When you arrive, you pay $10 to park and have access to the lighthouse from the jetty - you can't actually get to the lighthouse itself, but you are definitely close enough for pics, etc. You should drive out to...
