I am very tall and I can easily fit into any of their seats. This building is over 100 years old, what a fantastic place to see a movie. Staff is friendly, nice place. Easy parking.

I love this little movie theater. It's a gem for indie film fans. Downstairs seats are newer and comfy. Balcony seating is old & a little cramped. The popcorn is always fresh, the staff is great, and there's plenty of free parking behind the theater.

Whenever an Indie movie hits town, I try to go here to catch it. A small theater with a balcony, reminds me of where I saw movies in the 50"s as a child. They are partnered with the other Patriot movie theaters and because they only have one movie showing at a time, you are likely to have no noisy... More

This theatre is awesome and so are all the people that work there. I have watched several movies and they are not your typical "big" Hollywood movies, they are Indies and they are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would suggest anyone who is in Hingham to stop by and visit. It's the Patriot Cinema's .com

It is just so personal here and the movies are a little more sophisticated than the local multiplex. Not Cambrdge but great for the South Shore

I started going to the Loring when I was in elementary school (45 years ago) and it still has the same charm as it did many years ago. It is a single screen theater with reasonably priced concessions. I have not lived in Hingham for many years, but when I visit my parents, we always make it a priority to... More

Just got home from seeing the movie LOBSTER at Loring Hall. it is the opposite of the BIG mega theaters where you travel downward sub ground to get to your seat. The seats are comfortable and the theater has a hardwood floor!!!!!! It is our place to go to see independent films not offered elsewhere near us. If you arrive... More

Miles away from the mega-mall theaters. Travel back in time in more ways than one. Single Screen - old fashioned movie house - what's not to lke?
