Nice calm water in Bay side which is great for young children. Boats and ferries coming and going. Oceanside has fantastic waves for windsurfing and swimming. Snack bar offers a wonderful variety and nice area to sit. You can walk from bay to ocean side along the water or a quick jaunt across the large parking lot.

Vast beach, both ocean and bay side. Ample parking; bath house, and snack bar. Add sun, and you're all set. Wind picks up ocean-side in late afternoon.

Are you a shell hunter? There are many, many to choose from here. Walk the beach to the end where it meets Lewis Bay. The shells really pile up there. In some places, you'll walk on piles of shells--your feet won't even touch the sand. A bit of a Sanibel experience up north.

Great beach for everyone. Plenty of sand and surf to go around with two separate sides, one looking towards Hyannis Yacht Club moorings, one with vast ocean views (which are great for fireworks on the 4th of July). Snack bar with ample choices. Restrooms and changing areas. Windsurfing is good. Lots of side alcoves nestled in the sea grass as... More

This is such a nice beach but it gets a bit crowded. Not sure of the parking fees since I have a residence sticker but it's a big beach with a lot of parking but if you don't get there early you may not get in

This is a beautiful, long beach! Yes, we went in December...just wanted to get away for the day. Huge parking area and no fees in December. We brought along our dog for a walk. This may not be allowed in the summer. I don't know. This beach is tucked away behind some small dunes. There are numerous pathways to walk... More

We love Kalmus beach because of the amazing snack shack and the wide open spaces that encompass both the bay side and the ocean side!

Beautiful and quiet beach on the Cape. One of many local beaches. If you are staying for the week it is well worth the trip to city hall to get a week long pass!
