Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved our visit to Toad Hall! Mr. Simmons gave us the tour and lots of explanations of how he started his collection. His collection used to have more cars, but still plenty to see. I was very excited to see his 1972 Datsun 240Z, because I used to own an orange 1971 240 Z.

Must do in CapeCod. We were greeted by Bill who has amazig stoies to tell about his Hall, the cars and his experience to share( as a racing driver too).
Very nice experience and the kids had fun exploring the hall and all the cars, some really amazing!! Bill is a great host during the tour, very thorough and he also gave us hints for visits in the surrounding Hyannis area(restaurants and things to do).
Good memories from there, will be back!
Keep up Bill!

False advertising!!!!
This car (Jaguar XK120) and the other Jaguars XKE are not there anymore!

This heavily leaky shed cannot be called a 'museum' at all....

For Europeans (like I am) all these cars are very common in Europe....

We left after 10 minutes....

Save your ten dollars and go elsewhere to spend it!!

This cannot be called a museum it’s a dilapidated shed behind a super sketchy inn. Save your $10 and find something better to do. Massive serial killer vibes

OMG Where do I begin. A horrid structure to house some beautiful cars (at one time). If you want to to see some classic cars with flat tires, dusty windshields and deteriorating upholstery in a substandard building then this is your place. I don’t know how this place passes building code from the town. With falling insulation out of the ceiling and sketchy electrical circuitry from exposed wires to beams that are only five feet in height. WARNING if you are five feet or above and have lower back pain DO NOT GO!! You will do a lot off bending and stooping to get into the areas where cars are displayed. We went in September on a cool wet day but others have mentioned that this must be a hot box in the heat of the summer. I think rain must be penetrating the structure and destroying these cars. If you want a quick glance at what you will be seeing, take a look at the two cars in the front driveway. Rotting side panels and inadequate tarps to protect them are a good introduction to the “museum”. I’m thinking about suggesting to my friend who is a hoarder that he open his house to the public and charge a few dollars to tour through it. Same as here. As for entry fee, he just changed admission to $10 per person even though the website say $8.00. The old pricing sign can be seen laying against the walkway as you enter. $1.00 is too much for this experience. I can only imagine what his tax reporting must be since he takes the entry fee and makes change out of his pocket. I can’t image he takes cards.
Finally, go to Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich to see what truly restored and properly displayed classic cars look like.

Sad to see all of these once beautiful automobiles in such a poor state and displayed in such a horrible environment.

Such a neat spot! The gentleman that runs it is so kind - he was happy to walk us around and tell the story of the cars. Our kids really got a kick out of it. And for those that aren't into cars, there are also a lot of cats on the property!

Back in November 2021, I took a four-day solo trip across New England after attending a convention over the weekend. Toad Hall was by far the best attraction! Talking to Bill and getting to see and learn about all his incredible cars was absolutely awesome. I've never seen such an extensive collection of cars in a private "museum." The humorous signs and vanity license plates on every car (yes, EVERY car had a matching vanity plate) were icing on the cake.

The only thing to note: tall people take caution! VERY low ceilings. I'm 6'7", so I was ducking through most of the self-guided tour. But, ducking and crouching was SO worth the experience... truly and honestly one of the best things I've ever done on any trip ever.
