Drove up to the top of Mount Greylock in mid October. Spectacular views along with peak fall foliage made this a great destination to visit.

It was a nice ride up to the top. The elevation is 3,491 ft. Nice colors in the fall. There are many walking trails, huge monument that you can walk up I believe. It was closed at the time we were there for restoration. It will not be opened until sometime in 2017. There is a lodge on top where... More

My parents and I and our car hiked the mountain today (read: drove). It was beautiful and scenic. It also snowed randomly and was freezing. The lunch at the top was okay but the scenery was gorgeous! Definitely worth the trip

We took a van from the resort to Mt Greylock to enjoy the view and do some hiking. We knew there was a lodge for lunch but were very pleasantly surprised to find out how nice it was. Our grilled cheese sandwiches with caramelized onions and apples were delicious. Tables were long so you sat with people from all areas.... More

The view is so beautiful from there. I've been to Mount Greylock twice, and enjoyed both visits. The first time I went during the day, the tower was opened and I enjoyed the view from the 3 states you can see from there. This second time my husband and I went during the sunset (beautiful!!), and stayed to stargaze. Still... More

We hiked at the summit as well as down at the visitor center (be sure and stop there). Famished, we enjoyed delicious Ranger burgers at the lodge and met some fellow Aggies there.

If you want to capture the full beauty of the Berkshires, take the short drive to the top of Mount Greylock. On a clear day, the views are amazing. You can just stop by to enjoy the scenery or if you have a little more time, take a brief hike on the local trails, enjoy a picnic lunch on the... More

Wonderful way to see the fall leaves and beautiful scenery. Make sure you go to the visitors center at the entrance off Rt. 7. Pick up a map and a few tips from the people at the welcome center.

We enjoyed the ride up the summit at Mt. Greylock. The little lodge was so warm and inviting with the fireplace, rocking chairs and the cafe. It was very windy the day we went so we walked around outside as much as we could. Definitely take some time out and visit!

Called into the information Centre on our way up the mountain and stayed a lot longer than we planned as it was very interesting inside and told us how the reservation came to be and what views we could see of the surrounding mountains. ( there are also loo's at this centre too!) With a free helpful guide map in... More
