Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very well done tour by two guides who made history feel real even for an American and a tourist. We liked it but would not go again, but we did continue to Concord to get the full picture.

Highly recommend this informative tour! Our tour guide George was amazing, his knowledge of the history of the Battle of Lexington and Concord and what led up to the Revolutionary War was incredible! Be sure to take this wonderful tour and visit the gift shop for a souvenir or two! God bless the patriots who sacrificed and gave their lives to create the United States of America!

The tour guide kept everyone interested and entertained and she seemed very knowledgeable. Tour lasted about 70 minutes which was a nice amount for a walking tour, though there are points that people can split off and end early. Highly recommend as part of a great day in Lexington!

I am a student of history, and went with some who had degrees in history, and we all learned something (verified on Google). The tour guide was engaging, knowledgable and interactive. She made the battle come a live and laid a solid foundation for our visit to the Minuteman National Park.

My husband and I only had a very short time to spend in Lexington before we flew home, so we opted to do the tour. Mary was our guide, and she was fabulous. We learned so much about the history of the town and really got a sense for what it would have been like to be there. We’d definitely recommend!

The two guides made the start of the revolution come alive. It was so interestingly presented that we continued to Concord and at the Old North Bridge received the full complete picture. This is how history should be presented.

The tour of the Lexington Battle Green by the Lexington Visitors Center was outstanding. The tour guide knew his history of the Revolution, the important events, soldiers stories and local houses where people lived. It was about an hour tour which included one of the earliest cementary and some of the deceased role in the revolution. He make one feel that we were looking over at these important events in our history and had read the diaries of local people.
