History and incredible scenery rolled into one. A must see when visiting Marblehead. I love coming here to witness the sunrise with Marblehead Neck and the lighthouse in the background but it is delightful any time of day. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy...More

We enjoyed our drive here. The fall colors were wonderful. Great views of the coast. Lot of colorful boats and houses. I imagine in summer is quiet lovely as well.

A great place to spend some hours on a sunny day. The view is phenomenal - the ocean, the boats, the seagulls. One can sit or walk around . it is an easy and nice walk. Mostly recommended.

We didn't stay long as it was chilly and the entrance is a bit hidden but cool history to learn and it wasn't busy. It's free too

Amazing view of the harbor and surrounding area. Historical Fort, too. Easy walk from Old Marblehead & great looking at the historical placards on the houses.

Walked up to the fort after supper at the Barnicle. It was a nice relaxing walk as we enjoyed reading about the history of the fort. We enjoyed walking along and looking at the harbor also, so peaceful there

I think off-season on leash it's ok, but am mot sure. Across the street is Riverhead, where dogs seem to be allowed.
