they are closed - maybe there i another way to notify Tripadvisor but I'm not sure how. The web site looks active but if you call the number, you hear a message that says they are closed for business

It was an unseasonably chilly late May day, but the cheerful crew more than made up for it. In ways you could never see from land, the relationship between the mouth of the Merrimack and the Atlantic is a complex and sinuous one. The captain navigates with expert care through the buoyed channel, past crashing waves, lurking sandbars, and jagged rocks. Once beyond the jetty, the sails go up, the engine goes off, and away we head toward York, Maine, marked by the clearly visible Mount Agamenticus on the horizon. The captain hails from there and has interesting tales to share, though that port is well beyond the scope of this leisurely few hours. Many guests relax in the hammock-like netting forward, enjoying the breeze and the sounds of the sea from above and below. There is no other way to get this experience but on the bow of a sea-going catamaran. The mate is also seasoned, sociable, and always ready at the bar for those with a brine-inspired thirst.…

This is my FAVORITE thing to go do with out of town visitors because we don't have to deal with beach traffic and they get to see boats, water, the town.... Good drinks so don't have to twist my arm to do the same activity whenever we have an out of town group to show around. Kids + adults always have a good time. …

My sister and i had reservations today for the 2:30 sailing, we were originally told plenty of room when we booked just yesterday. Took off a half day of work, drove an hour to get there, excited and ready to go, only to go to the window and be told "sorry, we overbooked. There is a private party booked so we need to cancel your reservation". REALLY??!! Yes they were profusely apologetic, and blamed it on a computer glitch, "out of our control". I disagree, someone didn't check the rosters even if there were computer issues. When did they find out, when the private party started showing up?! You cannot use computers as an excuse for clearly just as much a human error. Systems should be checked routinely and it obviously wasn't. Therefore our day was completely ruined. Two free tickets for a cruise in the future just doesn't cut it. Between loss of work, gas, travel time, and parking that was already paid for, it truly doesn't cut it. I do feel bad because i know the staff was horrified, but this shouldn't of happened. We ended up getting something to eat since we were there, then just went home very disappointed. What was supposed to be a beautiful relaxing afternoon turned into a stress-filled nightmare.…
