Saw the museum and was not overly impressed. I didn't like the negatively religious themes that I saw there the last time. It gave my kids the creeps.

For me, modern art museums are always a gamble depending on who is exhibiting, but with MassMoCA, the building itself is an added treat so even if you don't find a single piece you like* it's still a fabulous place to explore. Be sure not...More

An interesting museum of contemporary art featuring (many very large) exhibits of art the style of which is seldom seen. The museum is very large with over 100,000 of space within a converted old manufacturing building. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

We visited this museum in the Berkshires and had a wonderful time walking through this amazing building. The art was interesting and full of color and modern ideas. Be prepared for super large walls full of modern art. The Sol LeWitt rooms were especially vibrant.
