Intimate and wonderful. We saw the Blind Boys of Alabama and it was amazing to say the least. Small and intimate setting. The crowd was into the music. The stage was very close and the acoustics was great!! Great to see what's happening in such a small town. Urge everyone visiting to attend the events and support the art scene.... More

I went to see Jefferson Starship with some members of my family who knows this band. I have never heard of them. Apparently, this band was popular somewhere in time. There was only one original member. A white hair gentleman in his 70's. The audience were seniors citizens; we were the youngest. It was a strange experience to see the... More

We recently attended a Carolyn Wonderland concert at Payomet and loved the venue. The people running the event were all very nice. We drove up not knowing what to expect and we were welcomed by a very nice greeter who recommended we take a walk to see the view of the ocean before the concert. The view was great. We... More

Many different types of performances in the woods of Cape Cod, at a closed military base. All you really are aware of when you are here is the peacefully location, lovely night sky, surrounding woods and helpful staff. The furthest location from the stage is maybe 100 feet so all the seats are great. We saw Jefferson Starship and the... More

Loved this venue! So quaint with friendly happy staff. Drinks were overpriced and it could get quite cold so bring a sweater!

My first time here and I loved it. Joe Louis Walker band was performing. Fantastic of course, but enhanced experience from the intimacy of the venue. Between sets and after the show the musicians wandered around talking to audience members. There was space to the sides where some people got up to dance. The same space was used pre-show by... Recently saw The Milk Carton Kids here. This venue was perfect in every way. What a great alternative to seeing artists in the twilight of their career at outrageous prices (hello Cape Cod Melody Tent) Payomet is housed in an outdoor tent that seems to have a capacity of about 500 people. Sound is impeccable, seats are fantastic no matter... More

This was our 1st time at this venue and we had so much fun. It was easy to find, parking was free, and all seats had a great view of the stage. The Vanilla Fudge put on the most amazing show and the audience was so receptive. The chairs are just folding chairs, but at least you can actually see... More

We saw the Yardbirds perform this past week. The concert was great! The seating was a little strange. The general admission seating was on the dance floor set outside the main area. The staff, while very nice, didn't seem to know much about seating or the other general questions. (Yes they are volunteers). What was annoying was when a staff... More

Just right for the summer traveler -- great shows, great setting and great crowds. A full lineup of good musicians makes Payomet a draw on the Outer Cape. Good seats for every show with the entertainers visible and accessible. The parking can be a challenge when the big names are "in the tent" so get there early. Decent refreshments.
