Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

229 Commercial, about half a block down from the former location, sharing the building with Soft as a Grape. I noticed another review stating it is a "used bookstore" No- they must be getting confused with Tim's, also found on Commercial St. This bookstore has new, current, great selection and knowledgeable staff. I have always been able to find at least one book at each visit. Support your independent bookstore!!

I always stop by here when I’m in town. It never fails that I find something of interest. Support our independent bookstores by stopping by. Whether it’s for a beach read or something else.

This bookstore has been here quite awhile. It is packed with a range of books. Limited on the beach fiction, but has enough for most people. Art books, history and other non-fiction prevail.
It is not dusty like a used book store can be and is air-conditioned which is a more recent addition. Fun to visit for us book nuts.

A good place to browse and open quite late. The selection is wide and well organised and a lot of books about the local area of Cape Cod and books by local authors.

Stopppee in to buy a couple of kids books for a child’s birthday. Was hoping to get something unique. Found a couple of great books about cape cod and lobsters which were a big hit. Also picked up a fiction book for myself set in Ptown. Great little independent bookstore. Shopkeeper was very friendly and managed to keep the line moving.

We were in Provincetown for the day. I wanted a certain book and was told not available because it will be coming out in paperback soon. NOT TO WORRY! the friendly associate who helped me suggested something else, he was reading it. A great book. They have all the books you, or were supposed to read in high school. Also children's books. It was fun walk down memory lane

This is a wonderful hidden gem right in the heart of Provincetown! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and offered some wonderful suggestions. They have it all from beach reads to literary gems. A diverse selection (including kids) and some lovely postcards to boot!
