I had never been here before and this made it all worth coming. A perfect little walk on a street full of people. Yet it somehow doesn't feel crowded at all. Lots of fun places to stop in and window shop. Place to eat and...More

Providencetown is a unique Haber town. Commercial street in very narrow with a very serious parking problem but it is lined with a very great variety of shops, galleries and places to eat. It's beside the bay so many shops have wonderful waterfront views.

You never know what you'll see on Commercial Street--men in drag, entertainers, street musicians, and just hoards of tourists wandering around. It's lively and exciting. You can spot the water from most places--and the art galleries are outstanding.

It was a surprise to walk down Commercial Street. It was more like Key West than a typical Cape Cod town. It was fun and buzzing, with plenty of places to shop, eat and drink.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, other than as early as possible. Parking is a bear in high season, and I find to do anything by car, it's best to do when everyone else isn't. For instance if driving off the Cape... More

Hi we just returned from Provincetown and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would recommend The Red Inn, can be a little pricey but very good food. We also loved Fanizzi's by the sea & the Lobster Pot. If you go to the Lobster Pot... More
