We went out on the Cee Jay fishing boat for the afternoon striped bass fishing from 1:30-5:30. For the first 45 minutes we caught mackerel as bait which was surprisingly fun and then proceeded to go find the striped bass. During the trip 4 keepers...More

Myself, my son and my aunt visited a few weeks ago and we had a blast. We loved fishing for mackerel at the beginning of the trip and we caught so many that my 7 year old thought he was a master fisherman. The crew...More

Thank you very much and we re glad you had fun.....so many people and especially kids absolutely love the catching mackerel for bait part of our trip as mackerel are plentiful , bite all the time and are feisty when hooked ... Hope to eee...More

Sorry it did not live up to your expectations ..the crew typically fishes to hand off the rod to passengers to reel in and they get to keep the fish ...most people appreciate that ..some don't .....

Just don't do it. Read the other bad reviews!!!!! You have to fish for your own bait in the first hour which is mackerel for stripers. if you don't catch any or enough you have no bait to fish with, We ran out of bait...More

No-one's fault that we only caught one fish. Because of Tropical Storm Hermine, there was a vicious North-Easterly wind blowing which made the water too cold for the fish to feel hungry. Well, that's what the ship's mate told me and it made us feel...More

This was a pretty big disappointment for us. We booked a large group (>20) two years in a row for 4 hour trips in August and caught a total of 1 fish. Actually we caught zero fish but if the mate hooks a fish he...More

We did Cee Jay last summer and had a good time, but this summer, not so much. The biggest problem is the general dismissiveness of the crew. Both the captain and the mate did a lot of their own fishing on this trip (with much...More

The Cee Jay is a 'party boat' accommodating up to (roughly) 45 guests. Trips are 4 hours, morning and afternoon with shorter evening trips in the summer. Bait, and sometimes jig fishing for striped bass, blue fish, fluke, flounder and mackerel. The captain's know where...More
