Despite being a frigid sunny day, hubby & I took our final day trip of 2016 up north shore. Along the way, we stopped in at this adorable winery. Being early in the day, we had the tasting room to ourselves. The staff were informative and pleasant. My wine tasting consisted of several sweet wines from white to red. I... More

The converted barn is tastefully set up for wine tastings and small gathering. They have some nice wine related products, olive oil and cheeses for sale along with wines. There are four tastings or you can customize. Wines vary. The place is still new in wine years so reds are a challenge. Nice staff though. Would be great if they... More

Mill River tastings are limited to a few options. You have to select what type of wine and there is a set selection. I would rather select from all catagories with a limit of the number of wines than a pre-selected group. I wasn't able to taste the Reisling because it wasn't in the group I had chosen. Since all... This 5 year old winery is the brainchild of a former chemistry professor & her former carpenter partner. Started in a basement it has grown into a lovely tasting room on a small vineyard property. Using their own grapes as well as grapes from California & Italy they make a nice selection of tasty wines.

I have been going to this place for a couple of years and I became a wine club member. I was there last week and had a tasting. The servers were excellent. Courteous and knowledgeable about there product. Also it is always great to support a local business. I have never had a bad wine or server here. Very well... More

We are members of the wine club and have our wine shipped to us. We stop twice a year to enjoy special offerings and renew the feeling of belonging to a special club. This past weekend the sangria tastings (3 varieties) were wonderful. We took the recipes and bought the appropriate wines to make each sangria at home. We enjoy... More

Wow what a great bottle of wine is all I can say. This place is a hidden gem. I was shocked when I tried their wine. First off, I have gone to several local vineyards that tend to add sugar and other fruit flavors to their wine. I prefer wine that speaks for itself. The Frontenac which is made from... More

On a quick overnight getaway with my wife to decompress from a busy work schedule. We started off our trip with a visit to the Mill River Winery. We got there a little early in the day around noon and pretty much had the place to ourselves. For the next hour we hung out with Brad drinking some great wine... More

Up and coming local vineyard. A nice thing is the various themes (music, movies, tastings and wine pairings).

This is a beautiful winery with a good selection of wines for tasting. We were the only ones tasting on a rainy Friday afternoon, and had the staff's undivided attention. The tasting room is quite beautiful, with a large open area that would comfortably accommodate large groups. Our hostess was engaging and knowledgeable, and the wines we tasted were very... More
