We like walking down my the falls when visiting. It's a nice walk, have to be a little careful with small kids when hiking but otherwise it's a great place to go walk and the falls are nice especially since we are from fl and do not have them. We have heard many story's about how 40 years ago they... More

The main Falls here are right by the Parking Area and can be viewed by almost anyone! There is MORE to the Falls, though, that involve a longer hike down to a series of smaller falls and rapids in a Picturesque Area. For the adventuress, this also connects to other trails, one of which leads to "Spirit Falls"--but that's a... More

If you find yourself driving north on Athol Road, just above Athol, Massachusetts, and if you cross a delightful stone bridge and see the small Doane Hill Road on the left, take it and stop in the little dirt parking lot immediately on the left, for there you will find scenic magic. The short, 100-foot-or-so pine needle-covered trail among the... More

This was right off the road. You can park at the top of the falls and hike down or at the bottom and hike up. A very short hike and not too steep. Across the road from the bottom parking lot is a bike trail that will lead you on a longer hike to Spirit Falls, a 30 foot waterfall... More

The falls are a hidden asset in the North Quabbin region. The falls a breathtaking and the hiking trails beyond the falls are a great family friendly hike. Definately a must see!

If you're looking for a quick, easy little hike, I highly recommend Doane's Falls! Featuring 3 waterfalls, the one mile round trip hike is very scenic and enjoyable. The trail is a bit rocky at certain points, but there is a large stretch of trail which is gravel. My friends and I did not realize how short the hike was... More

I went on September 19th and arrived at around 10:30 am. It was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back soon. There are 3 sets of waterfalls along the trail marked with yellow dots. It was a short hike, I stopped to take a bunch of pictures and had my dog with me, so the 0.3 mile... More
