Very nice campground for the price. Unfortunately cannot give a Better rating as we had a huge party at a neighboring camp site, I went to the office after 10pm to ask politely if they could tell them to stop. Nothing was done and got...More

Great place for families. Quiet and safe, clean and friendly. I have camped by myself and with my children and have always had a relaxing experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, I pulled in late with a daughter who was not feeling well, it...More

We love this campground. Pretty big wooded area. Has two areas to camp. No hook ups, but has bathhouse, restrooms with free showers. There is playground and pavilion. On some weekends they offer pancake breakfast. They have very little store, but it has everything you...More

After two years of staying at Nickerson, we failed to get a spot in the annual onilne lottery. So, we gave Shawme-Crowell a try. Nickerson is a superior location in the heart of Cape's elbow, its freshwater lakes, and greater seclusion. However, Shawme-Crowell proved to...More

This was a 2nd time staying here, and it can't be beat for the price. Advantages: 5 minutes from the Sagamore Bridge, less than $30/night, large amount of space between sites (for the cape anyway), many of the roads within the campground are paved, decent...More

We stayed here in June 2017 on C road. Other then a ridiculous amount of poison ivy the area was great. The bathrooms were fairly clean but very dated and appeared to be restocked daily. Well worth the price for some cheap nights near the...More

Shawme is a wonderful treasure on Cape Cod. Most of the sites have a good buffer from the neighbors. These are primitive sites, no power or hookups. All of the sites I have used have had good drainage. The bathrooms have been clean and functional....More

We stayed for 2 nights in one of their yurts. The yurt was small but comfortable and we liked having the electricity. It was a little tight for 6 people. In addition it gets very hot during the day, although it airs out at night....More

I've stayed here now two times. For the price It can't be beat. The sites are relatively spacious and there are bathrooms and showers nearby. The bathrooms and showers are a little messy but hey it's camping.
