This was far more interesting than I thought it would be. The Tower is open to the public 4 days a year and for a small fee you can climb to the top. The views were spectacular and the bells were being played from down...More

It is a beautiful old tower. It was originally just a regular water tower but Mr. Tom Lawson and his family lived near it and didn't like the looks of it. So he had covered up to a fancy tower and it is that today

The tower is only open a few times a year. There is a spiral staircase with numerous stairs so bring your energy. You may want to pack ear plugs, if the bells in the belfry ring while your up there you'll wish you had them....More

This historic structure is only opened 4 times per year. Check with Scituate Historical Society (Massachusetts) for opening dates and time.

The Lawson Tower is beautiful. However it is not open to the public in the winter months. Will have to go back in late spring to climb the tower.

The most unusual water tower in America. As interesting as its first owner. This is a spot that should be seen to be understood. His wife toured Europe and saw the fashioning of water towers. Why not Scituate. Great photographic spot

When open the Lawson Tower is one of the hidden gems of Scituate. You have to climb to the top so you can see the ocean and how the land runs down to the water. You can see Minot light as well
