Until I visited this museum, I had very little knowledge of and appreciation for Norman Rockwell's art. During our visit, I quickly became deeply engrossed in expanding my understanding of this American icon. What a fabulously wonderful learning experience for us. We look forward to going back.

This museum centering on Norman Rockwell is terrific. It is small, easy to maneuver and even carpeted! Be sure to take advantage of a guided tour, about 30 minutes, with a docent. It was so informative as is the 12 minute movie. He certainly captured humor and history in his lifetime of artwork.

We went to the museum and did ther otur but were not impressed. The cost to the value was a bit lopsided and so we felt we missed something.

We are not Rockwell aficionados but we do appreciate his timeline of a history of Americans and Americana. It was nice to see the Saturday Evening Post Timeline which must have covered more than half a century and many of his originals. There were 2 busloads of schoolchildren sitting in well behaved groups listening to a docent but that required... More

The museum in in a very picturesque spot with plenty of parking. While we were visiting we were lucky to participate in a gallery orientation talk given by an excellent gallery guide. She gave background information on the displayed pieces and was very knowledgeable when asked questions. Separate from the gallery was Norman Rockwell's studio that had been moved from... More

It exceeded my expectations! The history behind the art was amazing. Price is fair as they charge $18 adult giving a dollar discount with AAA and youth is only $6. Worth every penny.

His original oil paintings are breathtaking. His drawings are of course masterful, witty, warm, a little corny, but beautifully done - but to see the original oil paintings will take your breath away.

Whether you are a great Rockwell fan or just mildly interested this is a nice way to spend an hour or so. Easy to find, not far from the center of town, ample parking. The staff was not very engaged - was not offered any information while paying for admission ($18 for adults). Had seen elsewhere that there was a... More
