Wells has some lovely hiking trails-something for every level of experience. There are quick loop ones, or some that are a bit longer for those looking for a bit more of a challenge. The view from Carpenter's rock is lovely anytime of year--each season holds...More

We take our horses here off season so that we may enjoy the small beach. Trails are a bit rocky, but if you can find the one trail that leads to the top of the power lines, the view is unmatched!

I camp here every summer. It's very quiet and the sites are large and private. I usually book early to get a site beside the pond. Nice hiking trails.

Wells State Park is a great camping destination. We stayed on site 17, level spot overlooking the pond and very private. There were no sites near us. The restrooms were not far, about 100 yards or less, clean and well maintained. Showers were hot and...More

We really enjoyed our time camping here and 100% plan on coming back. Good size sites, nice distance from each other, and the pond is fantastic. Next time we'll make sure to bring kayaks or rent stand up paddle boards. Also, I know bathrooms are...More
