Here you can walk around in the old buildings where the long history of the industry here is presented with many large models and actual machinery. There's also more arts oriented installations and a nice fika place/wafflehut, as well as an arts and crafts shop....More

Celebrating the interesting regional history this place is well worth a visit. Make sure you visit the harbour and see the Eric Nordewall steam ship. Brand new and perfect replica. Worth a trip on board.

I wanted to see this old historic industry site and was very surprised that it's for free!! The show a 12 minute movie about this site and then you are free to roam araound on the premises and go into the old buildings and smell...More

This site is located beautifully between two lakes and Göta Kanal and has industrial buildings from the 15th century. It is completely free with guided tours and has an extensive museum with engines, tools, machines and an art exhibition. Stop by here if you are...More

This doesn't really feel like a museum. It is spread over several buildings on a large plot in the village of Forsvik and covers different areas of manufacture which have taken place there in the past and are still ongoing in some areas. Very informative...More
