The dam is only 2 times a year and is a special treat. It is an amazing structure and the scenery around the dam is beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves change colors. You can walk down the stairs to the lower area...More

I often stop here when on a motorcycle ride. Others stop by car. There as small but ample parking area along the street. You will see many photographers at sunset. For those with exercise in mind there are hundreds of steps down to the base....More

Great place to walk, run, hike or fish. Also a great place to take pictures during sunset or anytime. The small town of Clinton has a few nice quaint eating establishments. The townspeople are very friendly.

The Wachusett Reservoir Dam (which is in Clinton, not West Boylston) is still an impressive engineering feat, even over 100 years later. Twice a year, the state allows visitors to cross the top of the dam, closed for about 20 years. It gives longtime Clintonians...More

We stopped at the Wachusett Dam while on our way back home from Tower Hill Botanical Garden. Since the water in the reservoir is for public water supply, most of the area is restricted and inaccessible. However it is a good place to stop by...More
