I have been going to the Big E for over 60 years. I still like the old name, Eastern States Exposition! Love the State Buildings and all of the sights, sounds, and aromas throughout the grounds. Definitely has something for everyone.

Great place for dog shows. Love the fact that it is one of the few indoor shows in the summer which of course makes it more comfortable for dogs and people. Easy to get to and numerous shows there throughout the year.

Just going to the 5state exhibits is enough for me. Sampling the food they're famous for is a treat. Lines can be long but they move fast. Lots of walking but plenty too see and do, just like a local state fair but on a huge scale. You need all day to see it all. It's worth the return trip.

We used to go to this event yearly, but it became a lot of the same year after year. The ride area is too expensive (both the actual rides and the "games"), and it seems to be more about merchandise booths than it was in the past. However, I still find the crafts and the home show buildings interesting, and... More

Old stadium but comfortable. It's a great place to watch demonstrations and shows during the large equine affair there every year.

My friend went last year and had a ball. There is plenty to do for all ages and great for kids and seniors. Being disabled there is a vender who rents scooters and is great for elderly and disabled persons. I think it would benefit the Big E to offer these rentals for all events they have there. I know... 6 states get together for one big state fair here every fall. amazing that so many people don't know about the fair, but we locals go back every year. the food, the animals, the atmosphere, the circus: all together mark the start of our fall season. locals argue about which building has the best food, which stands have the best... The Big E is a great event for all ages, and is a family tradition for us. I went a child with my parents and have continued the tradition taking my family every year.

The Big E has been around forever and ever. In the fall I believe it holds the largest fair in New England. Something for everyone of all ages. Shows, bands, great food stands and restaurants, Better Living Center with loads to see and buy. We go every year especially like the State Buildings of New England. During the year the... More
