I went on OceanQuest with a varied crew of friends and family - two grandparents in their seventies, parents in their 50s and 40s, and a 7 year old and a 12 year old. We all loved it and learned a lot. Our teacher, Michael, was able to teach all of us something and we also shared a lot of... More

We enjoyed very much this boat ride. The staff was very nice and helpful. My 10 years old son enjoyed learning about and even touching the ocean creatures. I would highly recommend this attraction.

The staff on this boat really makes the experience. We took the trip with kids ranging in age from 5-10 and all of them had a blast. From hauling in lobster traps to checking the water depth and touching all kinds of live sea creatures, it was an educational and exciting 90minutes. Later, we did the family fishing. We had... This can be a great trip if you keep a few things in mind. This is mainly for young children (5-12 is ideal). The most important thing to keep in mind is to give yourself extra time to get to the place because traffic can be terrible and there is no where to park. The best way to get around... More

My sons gave the cruise a 2 thumbs up & "better than a 10" . Our crew member was informative & kept the kids interested. Hands on learning fun with the ocean!

Our GS troop of 7 12 year old girls went on a Marsh Walk with Jeff in early April. Jeff and Anna bent over backwards to accommodate our group. It was the first trip of the year, and despite the chill, the girls were attentive and engaged for about 2 hours. Jeff is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and his passion... More

The OceanQuest cruise proved to be 90 well spent minutes on our most recent visit to Woods Hole. We took an afternoon cruise midweek, but there was still a good number of people on the boat, and the crew divided us into two smaller groups so that the children could all have a chance to participate in the various activities... My sister and I brought our 7 children ages 4 to 10 and they were all equally entertained. The 4 year old got a little antsy during the first 20 minutes - there is sitting and listening time. The trip was structured and had the children set up into groups. They learned while looking into microscopes, answering questions and role... More

I called to make reservations as the flyer recommended. Was advised not to come for the 10 oclock voyage because it was filling up. After travelling for two hours with my three grandsons, anticipating the 12 o:clock trip and waiting for the boat to come in, we were told they would not be going out, because they only had 17... From our 3 year old to our 13 year old, and even to us parents, this was one of the highlights of our trip. It had something for everyone, and all of it was educational. The staff was great.
