We took the kids here on a day trip, it was $50 for 2 kids and 2 adults, more if you wanted to ride the train or see the planetarium, another $12 and $16 respectively. We hit it on a day when there was no one else there, and I think that helped. If you had to wait in line... More

The museum itself is entertaining: it features 3 floors of exhibits - there's a glass floor balcony to test your acrophobia on the top floor, live animal shows for the kids and a planeterium/movie theater on the center floor, and the largest floor (lower level) that features constantly changing exhibits, really cool African dioramas, a living swamp exhibit, a kinetic... We were a bit apprehensive about going after reading some of the reviews but it turned out great. While designed for slightly younger kids my animal lover daughter loved it and there was a nice variety of things to do and see, including taking a nice walk around the property. Fall is half priced so it was a very affordable... More

Truly, others may disagree but i don't see what this place is all about. Dark & dank and lets not forget the location! It's a wonder anyone ever finds the place. Save your money.

Because we visited the Eco Tarium this month, September, it was half-price! The only venue that had closed on Labor Day was the Tree Canopy Walk because it is operated by local college students. My six year old grandson was totally amazed at the planetarium, hands-on discoveries, making giant, life size bubbles and riding the train. There are three floors... More

When I was suddenly faced with the daunting prospect of hosting an old friend and her three-year-old granddaughter for a day's visit to Worcester of course I panicked at first, but then thought of meeting them at The Ecotarium. Bubbles. Turtles. Picnic lunch on the patio. Swings, sandboxes and ant farms. Perfect.

What a great experience. Well worth the money for the amount of knowledge gained about our environment. Great learning experience for both adults and children.

The EcoTarium is geared towards kids and just big enough to not overwhelm. A recently renovated playground is a great place to play in good weather. Exhibits on the ground floor are regularly rotated inside so things don't become stale and they appeal to all ages (adults as well). They also do a great job of having other interactive exhibits...
