I have been visiting family on the island for years and yet this was such fun. I learned a lot about the island on this tour. The tour guide was great. Her love for and knowledge of the island really showed. Get off your butt amd do this!!

Beaver Island is not as well know as Mackinac Island, but is a unique and beautiful location with a rich history worth exploring. There are numerous ways to explore the history of the Island, one of which is Beaver Island Slow Roll Tour. Owner and Tour guide, Sharolyn, will meet you with a warm smile and a pleasant manner. She will guide you through the St James Bay area of the Island while providing lots of interesting facts and stories. Whether its stories of 'King Strange' and his many wives, the Mormons, the Irish and other settlers you will get a good start on the Island's history. This is NOT a bike race. It's something the whole family can do and have fun together. Bring your camera and capture the moment. Well worth the small amount charged:) KP
