Visited with family on a Friday night. The museum was not crowded. Great exhibits. Very informative. Planetarium narration one of the best I've ever heard. If you visit definitely visit the planterium.

The grounds and museum were phenomenal. We had everyone from age 3-73 with us and a great time was had by all. Great way to spend an afternoon. Will go back!

What a beautiful museum! As a former earth science teacher, I was thrilled by the quality of exhibits. So very well done! The planetarium was very informative. The mineral collection was fantastic!! Delicious coffee at the cafe. Helpful, friendly staff. Our visit was a real treasure!

A good place to take your kids. Especially in the winter. The grounds are wonderful for a walk too. If its a close drive its worth it to get the annual pass for the family,

This is a great science museum for all ages. It's small, manageable and makes for a nice afternoon activity. This museum is packed full of information but won't take you all day. They have a surprisingly good cafe and a small, but worthwhile gift shop filled with unique items. Paired with the Cranbrook gardens, grounds or art museum, it makes... More

....maybe's it's nostalgia. My parents and I frequented this museum when I was younger. I loved revisiting all the variety of halls on natural sciences, always looked forward to seeing the traveling exhibit, and ADORED the bats. The place seems to have lost its luster recently, though.

I have been going here for 45+ years and I always learn something when I attend. Lots of natural history and early native culture, but there is a hands-on physics room, a world-class precious mineral collection, a nice planetarium, and rotating special exhibits. Lots of special programs for all ages, lots of great stuff for younger (4 - 12 yo)... More

Located in an architecturally-interesting building on the fantastic Cranbrook grounds, this must be one of the best attractions in the area. We especially enjoyed the bat exhibit (extra charge).
