Have driven by here dozens of times and looked like a neat bent grass all around course. We were on our way to Treetops in Gaylord Thursday 7/2/20 and decided to try this course for as I thought( and my brother in law and buddy) $25 for nine with cart was reasonable. The young man brought a cart right to the truck and brought our food order out to the course.( don't know his name but about 6'4" and a junior in Cadillac high school, he will go far in life with his work ethic!) Girls behind register nice and efficient, Erica good job! Ok the course is nicely conditioned, ( only played front)number one is a tough opener over bog/ swamp. Didn't know layout and not extremely well defined, a few few holes coming back and forth next to other and a few blind shots but all in all a nice front nine the guys liked. Worth if driving by but want to try Lakewood on the green next. Great young people with good attitudes working here, may try back nine on way north again some day. Great access off 131, road noise not too bad, large greens. No time for dinner here or inspecting the Eldo.…

Eldo is a challenging course with lots of carry over water and swamp. Well maintained and has a nice pro shop and restaurant. But, be advised....if you are a mid to high handicapper, your bag will be lighter when you’re done.

Customer service is unbelievable. Management here is very strong, all employees I encountered from drive up to drive off treated us like VIP's. Friendly, helpful, thoughtful, knowledgeable interested and interesting. Course was busy as heck and they treated us like we were the only people there. Beautiful layout...course is off the hook. A must play if you ever get up that way.…

I have played at many, many golf courses across the country, but have never experienced the level of customer service I recently enjoyed at Eldorado Golf Course. Upon my arrival, I dropped off our clubs at the bag drop. I was welcomed to the course, by a young man who introduced himself (I stink at names), asked if we needed anything, and indicated he would be taking care of us. We parked our car, and were immediately greeted by the young man with our cart and loaded clubs. Again, we were asked if we needed anything; declining we were directed to the Pro Shop. We loaded-up and again were asked by our original greeter if we needed anything. He indicated he would see us at the turn. At the turn our ambassador offered to take a food order and bring it out to the course for us. After the our round, we were greeted by a young lady who indicated she would accompany us to the parking lot, and return our cart. Again, every gesture was offered with genuine friendliness and sincerity, and not the typical hand out for a tip. All of the young men and women we encountered were friendly, sincere, genuine, and obviously enjoyed their job of interacting with customers. Although, the customer service is extraordinary, the golf course is the shining star of Eldorado. It scores well above average in every facet including pace of play, layout, condition, play-ability for average to advanced golfers, value and amenities. Oh yeah, did I mention their customer service .....…
