Read about these in Tripadvisor, and found them delightful! You can pick up a brochure and visit on your own or take a tour (walking or golf-cart). The chamber actually does a walking tour as well. I thought the houses were very interesting and lovely...More

It was an iffy weather day in Charlevoix but we decided to go anyway. Great choice. Our driver/owner/narrator was knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Earl Young. His homes built from early to mid 20th century are unique. This is a great tour and something...More

We went to the Visitor's center to get the walking tour map and saw the homes on our own. They are so unique - we enjoyed seeing each of the homes. If we had time we would have taken the tour - maybe next time!

Had a very nice time. Nice to be informed of the back ground of the homes instead of just walking past. We would highly recommend this tour.

We drove ourselves, it was rainy so we didn't see much . . . the houses are note worthy and quite unique and different.

Four of us toured the mushroom houses on our own but I would have liked to have taken the tour and learned the history. I highly recommend seeing them if you get a chance. I will take the tour next time I am there.
