We needed a quick swim after a long day, and were told to come here. This beach isn't very wide but the water was so clear! We were surprised how clean it was. The sand at the bottom was practically pristine-no algae, shells, etc. You...More

We stayed in Teepee 31 and it was great. My kids, 11&9 loved it. The bottom bunk was low to the ground. We brought two Kayaks with us and rented a tandem one at the park. If you go right you can see two white...More

We only went to hike, but you can also camp there. The trail head is down the road to where the campers are, not the beach side. We took the trail all the way to the end, it’s about 5 miles round trip. Path was...More

We enjoyed our 4 nights here very much. They only have 20 AMP on shared power pole located at front of lot (we were on 27), but it was cool enough in our shady spot that we didn't need A/C. We were out and about...More

Beautiful state park. Walked on the beach for a few hours. We went back to the park office to ask about the wildlife.

The bathrooms are dated like any other state park in the world, but the water is hot, and there are a ton of trees. We were able to pitch a giant tent and a hammock, with plenty of room for our stuff and vehicle. The...More

We camped at Cheboygan State Park in 2017 and vowed to return this year to try the tipi — easier than pitching a tent after a 5-hour drive, and a unique experience. We arrived at about 5 p.m. and set up lawn chairs for star...More

I've been here several times. Its a nice beach. And has big playground for kids, and was a board walk. And you can see two light houses a really old one and the newer one.

We have been going here for 30 years and plan to continue as long as our bodies will let us. Started when our boys were little and now they're grown with kids of their own. Duncan Bay Beach is a nice sand beach. The rustic...More

This was our second time at the park. The first was in the winter, we scouted a trail for cross country skiing but it was too icy. We ended up taking a short hike on the west beach. Note, it is the one where you...More
