Family run vineyard offering excellent tours/tastings.

For £33 you get a tasting of some of their wines, excellent cheese board, plus cake/coffee, and a great introduction as to how the wines are produced.

Caroline and Jackie could not be better hosts, and were happy not only to explain how they operate in a very "natural/organic" way, but also to spend time chatting about the vineyard/English wine business in general.

The fact that these tours are fully booked for several months tells it's own story.

(Perfect pressie for anyone interested in wine)

We have visited many vineyards..both in England and Champagne, and this is the first time we have seen the disgorgement process done manually , what a treat .
It was informative and friendly - accompanied by excellent wine and a lovely cheeseboard.
We also liked the whole ethos behind the wine production and care for the environment.
We will return .

Terlingham Vineyard truly is a gem! We enjoyed the most beautiful natural surroundings and lucked out with absolutely perfect weather.
Jackie is so warm and friendly, as well as knowledegable. The selection of wines tasted were among the best we've ever tasted. We'll definitely be buying Terlingham wines for all our special occassions from now on!

Thank you for such a wonderful morning!

We had a lovely and friendly welcoming
upon arriving at the estate. Everyone attending the scheduled wine tasting is treated as a valued visitor. The two sisters who help run the family vineyard are so down to earth and casual. You feel like you’re being welcomed into their home. They love the vines and are passionate about what they do.

They decided to stop using pesticides years ago and haven’t looked back. All their wines are very natural. No sugar is added to the wines. Any processes that are not required are eliminated. Their wines are very very dry and might not suit everyone, but most of us left with purchased bottles. They recently won a bronze medal for their wines.

This is a very unpretentious experience. Don’t expect any fancy buildings. Think rustic simplicity instead. What more do you need than a beautiful view, wine tasting, cheeseboard and good information...all in the sunshine?!

After an introductory talk and explanation about the farm, we were then lead to picnic tables for a wine tasting and in depth explanation on how they make their wines. Afterwards we are able to order a glass of wine to have with our cheeseboard, bread and crackers. Which is then finished off with coffee and cake. If you have anymore questions, just ask. They are more than happy to chat.

They very kindly accommodated our gluten intolerant also, which was very much appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly hospitality of Caroline, Julia and Sam ( I think I got those names right?!)

Please keep going. Your hard work pays off!
Thank you!

We had a lovely couple hours at the vineyard guided by sisters Caroline and Jackie. Gin tasting with their own hand crafted Gin the star of the show. We mixed cocktails and enjoyed a lovely platter of fayre. We learnt about the vineyard that the family run . Glorious views all the way to the French coast. We will certainly return for wine tasting.

My sister and I did this tour and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Caroline was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Really interesting how they farm the land and tend to the vines by hand. Caroline was assisted by Izzy who was a delight and helped serve the tastings and cheese board. Cheese board/bread/crackers/chutney was delicious. A real feast, followed by cake. We purchased a bottle of the chardonnay with our lunch and it was fabulous. I never thought i was a chardonnay fan but their wine changed my mind. The sparkling rose was excellent as well. Caroline's lovely mum and cute dog Ruby came to say hi as well. A fabulous visit and a proper family business. Highly recommend.

Booked as a birthday treat for my parents, everything was well managed from communication before, to the hosting on the day. We had such a great time, learnt and laughed - whilst drinking some very good wine an eating a tasty cheeseboard - and the surprise gin. Would def go again and highly recommend. Thank you.

Late birthday present from a friend and was not disappointed.
Local vineyard to me about 15 mins away, pleasantly surprised by the vast acres of vines growing.
Amazing views of the sea and on a clear day you can see France.

The wine tasting experience was really informative. Family run business where they do all the picking etc by hand. The rosé we tried was very subtle and light I am normally a sweet rosé drinker, however now converted to this wine.
The Chardonnay was crisp and very refreshing.
Sparkling wine was really good and can see why this has won awards.

Will certainly be back again and look forward to the rosé and Chardonnay I purchased

Occasionally after travelling for many years one stumbles across a little Gem or an enchanting hideaway. A place you know you will return to. Terlingham is just such a place. My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night break in this beautiful vineyard nestled in the patchwork hills of Kent, looking across the coast to France. Lorna, who’s passion for wine and hospitality, took such good care of us with her generosity and seamless service. From the abundant breakfast box to allowing us to take supper in the vineyard, nothing was too much trouble. You made us feel so welcome and our stay with you so special.

Despite the weather trying its hardest to spoil things we had a great time, drank some really great quality wine topped off with some tasty cheese. A great presentation by the incredibly enthusiastic family that run the vineyard. Highly recommended.
