I visited when young and now when much older. It is a great place to see the progression of cars, trains, planes, presidential cars, dining cars, furniture and many other things. You easily spend a day here. These are original not models. JFK's presidential car. Many other president's vehicles. Lots for everyone to see.

This museum has been on my bucket list for a long time and I'm really glad I came! I recommend visiting when the weather is pleasant if possible--29 Dec was my only available day.. cold and the factory was not operating. Greenfield Village and the Rouge plant are now on my bucket list for next time. The folks at admissions... More

Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village is unlike anything else in this category. Whatever your historical interest - architecture, industry, clothing, vehicles, agriculture, engineering - you'll find it here, bigger, better and more carefully curated. We've had a family membership on and off for 12 of the last 20 years. A great place to keep coming back - there's always something new... More

Everything was so interesting: the museum, the factory tour, and especially the village. We spent one day at the museum and factory and another day at the village...and there was plenty to do on both days. What a gem in Dearborn.

A great place to experience America's history. From cars, railroad locomotives, planes ( yes, they have the spirit of '76), engines, weapons and my favorite, the old links that the presidents traveled in. Even the one Kennedy was shot in.

On a whim my husband and I went there. I never really thought about it, but he had wanted to go. I am so grateful I agreed and now plan to go back with my 89 year old mom. Everything about the industrial revolution that was made is there. This isn't only about cars(which is what I thought). They had... More

Can't believe I never visited here after living in Michigan for over 60 years. There is way more here than automotive history. I particularly enjoyed the clock and glass collections, as well as the train cars. All the children we saw seemed to be having a good time. We only saw Greenfield Village at night (for Holiday Lights special event),... More

The Henry Ford consists of the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, the giant screen, and the Rouge Factory tour. There are so many things to do there! Just to name a few, there are special exhibits in the museum, holiday nights in the village, classic car festival, old fashioned baseball games, maker faire Detroit, and more! Besides the special events,... More

You could easily spend 3-4 hours at this museum. It's a vital institution documenting change and innovation in America. Considering Detroit's history of automating in particular, it's definitely something to see. If you come during Christmas time be sure to visit the Village of artisans on the property.

One thing the man didn't do was do things in halves ! I expected everything Ford but was surprised at the eclectic & universal collection and just how many fingers Henry (and to lesser extent Edsel) had in many pies !! You could spend several days to do the whole site justice but being time poor we sped thru the... More
