I really enjoyef Greektown. Food was amazing at Fishbones. It is so much to see that you will need more days to see everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants plus Greek casino and hotel is in the area should you get tired!

My husband and I visited Detroit over Memorial Day weekend and decided to stroll around Greektown. Although Google Maps shows a larger area, realistically, the vibrant area is the block of Monroe Ave between Beaubien St and St Antoine St. It's smaller and more diverse...More

Lots of people. Still some late night problems with fighting but police are always in the area. Restaurants are authentically Greek so the food is wonderful. Renaissance Centre and river activities nearby.

This is a great place to stroll around, especially on a beautiful summer night. Lots of things to get into...many bars and traditional Greek restaurants, along with whatever other food you may have a taste for. Very safe, with a strong and friendly police presence.
