Took a tour of the Guardian building today lead by Jacob. I am a local Michigander that lives 45 minutes outside Detroit who chose to go to the tour to share Detroit with my best friend from Texas. I've never been in that building before this tour, but was pleasantly surprised about how amazing the building was and enjoyed learning... More

Architect in this building is breathtaking. I'm in complete awe every time I step into this building. This Is one of the very few buildings in Detroit that still have the original architect. A must-see !

On a walk around downtown Detroit to look at the various historic buildings, we stopped into the Guardian Building. It is truly stunning. The architecture and design reflects a time of the past but is so well preserved. Definitely worth a quick look.

It was great that Pure Michigan sponsors this tour and also the one at the Fisher Building. We did both in the one day. Both guides were very knowledgle of the buildings. This tour was free and very well worth it. I am glad to see that the buildings are keeping as beautiful as they were in there day with... More

Beautiful old building... classic Detroit. Although it has offices it is worth a walk through to admire the architecture and beauty. There is a cafe, enjoy a coffee!

This building is a very imposing one from the outside, but not that beautiful. Once you step in though, you realize this is a special place. The entrance hall is all squarely-designed with vivid colors. Once you climb the stairs to enter the great hall, the contrast shifts to curvy designs with more pastel-like colors. The interior is grandiose and... More

Outstanding sight to see. Spend whatever time you want. But def go. The sight is spectacular. This is amazing history that was before my time. And for it to still be standing. Awesome.

I have been to Detroit multiple times but this was the first time as a tourist, I recommend stopping here to admire the architecture and beautiful artwork on the ceilings and murals. I wish I would have been there on a day for a proper tour but maybe next time. I recommend stopping into the Pure Detroit store inside on... More
