About
Home of the Detroit Tigers, this is no ordinary ballpark. Combination theme park, ballpark, and baseball museum, it features huge statues of tigers, a Ferris wheel, carousel (with tigers, of course) and a fountain that celebrates each home run with colored lights and music.

    Love this park
Love outdoor ballparks. Used third party for tickets. This is definitely a great place to watch a game. Lots of history of tigers while you walk around. Varied food vendors and I tried a bunch. Seats were not uncomfortable

Great place to watch a game tbh
Was in town for the nfl draft and decided to check out a tigers game tbh. Been here in other time years ago but was a fun time at the ballpark. My only complaint was the game was only 2 hours lol. But we actually ran in to some season ticket holders who had seats in the lions Den. Real nice guys who had 2 extra tickets and let us sit with them. So great view and a great time at the ballpark.

All Good; Except for the Brewers Loss!
First visit to Comerica Park - like all newer baseball parks, lots to do besides the game. Don’t freak out over getting parking in advance. Closest online prices were $50; we opted to get to the park and work our way out and quickly found Lot 5 (I think city parking) for only $30 and 2 blocks to the entrance. East in and east out (about an hour before the game.)

    Excellent Ballpark
This is a first rate stadium in the heart of downtown. I agree with a prior review: The sight lines are very good, and the food and beverage choices are pretty extensive and pretty good. Prices are much lower for tickets than in many other cities. One note: The Tigers are a frustrating team that cannot seem to score many runs. Regardless, Comerica Park is worth a visit.

Nice Ballpark to Watch a Baseball Game
Comerica Park is a great place to see a baseball game. The ballpark is very clean and well run. Ticket prices are reasonable. The concession stands are numerous and well staffed. The sight lines for watching the game are very good and there is plenty of legroom in the lower bowl seating area. There are plenty places to eat outside the ballpark and parking areas are easily accessible. Food choices are abundant inside the stadium. The lines move fast and the staff is pleasant, efficient and very courteous. The Tigers did a nice job capturing the history of the organization throughout the ballpark. Make sure to check out the statues in left field as well as the areas along the main concourse that provides the history of the Tigers. Comerica Park has a very strict bag policy. Please check the Tigers website for guidance prior to heading to the ballpark. Overall, a great ballpark and a fun place to watch a baseball game.

Truely amazing ballpark, staff & organization
I had the opportunity to visit Detroit for a weekend baseball series and decided to take a ballpark tour before a Friday game. Let me tell you, the staff and tour guides were amazing! They pointed out all the smaller details you might miss during a game day, making the experience truly special. Comerica Park, though considered "older" by today's standards, is fantastic and fully up-to-date with technology. The pre-game experience is phenomenal! If you have kids, this ballpark is a dream come true. From face painting to a carousel and a Ferris wheel, there's plenty to keep even non-baseball fans entertained. The architectural details, both inside and outside the park, are stunning. The integration of Michigan companies, big and small, is a testament to local pride. The scoreboard, second in size only to the New York Mets', is magnificent and perfectly placed to avoid obstructing the downtown skyline view. Having visited over 15 MLB ballparks in the last five years, I can confidently say Comerica Park ranks in my top five. It's a ballpark I fully intend to return to as time permits!

Great park! Safe area could use some bar, restaurant options outside the park
Downtown ballpark walking distance from many hotels with lots of character, great views of the downtown and very good atmosphere. My husband was concerned about our safety until we got there. Heard stories about Detroit but was not concerned at all once we saw where the venue was and the amount of people Coming and going from the park. This appears from an outsider to be a very safe part of the city. There are always going to be people outside of these parks hitting you up for donations and things of that nature. Just ignore them and keep moving which is what most people do. Very unique ballpark with lots of niche areas to get food and hang out. We sat in an area that was called the tiger Den as I recall! These are old school seats that are like going to the ball park in the 20s. They resemble wooden chairs with coushions and tables and you’re not crammed in next to people. There was even a carousel in the food court for the kids. Which was a really neat touch. Overall top 5 or 6 of all the parks we have been to excluding the outside the park amenities

Comerica Park kind of annoys me every time I go here. Nothing horrible about it but almost twenty five years later, I can’t believe they tore down old Tiger Stadium and replaced something so great with something so mediocre.

When they designed this ballpark, it is almost like they said let’s do everything opposite from what made Tiger Stadium great. Tiger stadium was so intimate and you felt right on top of the field. Here, almost every seat feels like you are far away from the action and the dimensions of the ballpark make it hard to hit a home run.

Worst part is if you are here for a day game, you will feel like you are sitting on the surface of the sun. Because of the orientation of the stadium and the teeny upper deck roof, almost all seats have no shade and you don’t get a breeze at field level. If looking for a shady spot, sit in the top five rows of sections 211-214.

Parts of the exterior out front are fun with all of the Tiger sculptures and the one don’t miss attraction is the Ferris wheel with baseball capsules (only $2/rider and located near section 131).

Food is fine but typically overpriced. Way too many concessions selling Little Caesars Pizza (owner of team also owns Little Caesars). Better food choices on the ground level than the upper deck concourse.

Ballpark is on the northern edge of downtown. Area is very safe and so is downtown Detroit (If you haven’t been to Detroit for a while, you will be shocked at how improved it is).

If staying downtown, you can take the people mover to the Grand Circus Station stop and walk across the street to the park (people mover is free during 2024). Also, Q line streetcar runs right by stadium as well.

Amazing ballpark! The atmosphere during a game is a blast...win or lose, we always leave smiling. A huge tiger statue in front of the stadium makes for great pictures. There are also six statues of famous former Tigers that are cool to see.

Having loved the old Tiger Stadium, it was hard for me to adjust to a different ballpark. Comerica Park makes it easy with a great location, awesome views of the city and plenty of nearby parking. Plus nearly every seat in the venue is a good one.

The staff are rude and unreliable. We complained about our view of the stage was blocked by the people next to us and complained to the manager. Said he’d give us our refund but we would have to leave. We left but he never gave a refund. When trying locate him staff stated “he wasn’t there”.

Comerica blends the history of the Tigers franchise into the modern era of baseball stadiums. The seats are the most comfortable of any stadium that I’ve been to, with ample space so you don’t feel crowded. The nods to former Tigers greats are everywhere. The store is huge and has a great selection of items to commemorate your visit.

The park is fun. It pays tribute to the history of the teams rich history which I enjoy. The stadium is decorated in tigers which is fun. Seats are good but somewhat expensive. Parking is tough and very expensive $60 to $70. Be aware.

This is an absolute horror of a place to watch a baseball game. You’re so far away from the diamond and the players look like ants. Unless you’re on the first base side there is no shade so you sit in the sun at day games and bake. Oh, I guess it’s a nice park, but it over 20 years old now. Prices are ridiculous, but they have to do something to cover the money spent on players. Sorry, but I’ll take the up close and personal feel of old Tiger Stadium.

A little disappointing, had to walk down from 3rd level to purchase beer other than Coors Light or Miller Lite. No relish for hot dogs...first ballpark visited to not offer relish for hot dogs 😟
