Beautiful but as others said, it was off. Also be careful coming up to the Plaza from the Riverwalk, as there are still messed up bricks along the sides. There is also the Landing of Cadillac statue, a sign talking about Ford Motor Company, an...More

Some of the stages for the Jazz festival were at the Hart Plaza. It is a great location for a festival of any kind with the Detroit river on one side and the city area on another. While there was not a lot of seats...More

it's after Labor Day, it was evening...so it wasn't fully functioning...but the paving was also looking a bit shabby. Other than this, it's a wonderful location downtown.

This is a really beautiful part of Detroit especially in summer. Get great photos, enjoy a beautiful open space and see great city views all around including the Renaissance Center.

We went when there was the Ribs and R&B Festival weekend going on. The early Sunday morning we went there was a Gospel choir performing. There were fish, chicken, ribs, sweets, and alcohol vendors. They also had clothing, accessories, and art for sale.

Independence Day weekend and 80 degrees but no fountain, poorly kept green spaces, and lots of temporary fencing. I am sure there are times this is beautiful but it was a bad look for a holiday weekend.

Easiest is along the street on the other side of Jefferson. Then just cross over.
