The people mover looks fun from the ground, but it's really not worth it. Fare is only 50 cents per person, but it's the time that's not worth it. I decided to hop on for a round trip when I had nothing to do this...More

Used the people mover to get from our hotel to head over to see a Lions game. This is for sure the way to go, no parking nightmares, etc and I think it was $0.75 each way. Football and Baseball stadium are next to each...More

We enjoyed the people mover a lot. We got to see a lot of downtown without having to worry about traffic. It's a birds eye view of a very diverse city.

The people mover takes you on an elevated loop around downtown Detroit. For 75 cents it is good value and you can see a reasonable amount out the windows. I stayed on for the entire loop and then walked to the areas that most interested...More

The Detroit People Mover is a mini rail system that goes around the downtown area. The price is cheap and you can get some reasonable views but unless where you want to go is on route its not an overly mode of transport. It's probably...More

If you get off at Grand Circus Park station, you would be near Comerica Park, which is just in front of Ford Field. You could also get off at Greektown, which is about a mile or so past Ford Field.

The Detroit People Mover does have a token and coin payment system. If the occasion permits, we will offer a special events or convention pass online, or a multi-day pass for large groups. Thanks for your question!
