About
The Cathedral has stood at the heart of Detroit's cultural center in Midtown since it's dedication in 1911. Designed by Ralph Adams Cram, the building is well known for it's woodwork, stained glass, the Pewabic tile floor and for it's music program. In addition to Sunday services and the Cathedral being open during office hours the Woodward Avenue doors are open on Fridays with docents available for tours. The Cathedral is a short walk from the new Q-Line stops and parking for " Open Cathedral" is available off of Cathedral Lane. Tours are also offered on the second Sunday of each month, following the 11:00 a.m. service

This lovely friendly cathedral is easy to find along Woodward. Truly a work of art full of Pewabic tiles and beautiful stained glass windows. I have come for several holiday services and always welcomed by the beauty and this kind open minded congregation. Wonderful woodwork as well. Just lovely and incredibly welcoming! A marvelous neighborhood!

Beautiful 100 + year old Episcopal cathedral in heart of Detroit. Sunday services at 8:15 and sung Eucharist at 11:00. Weekday services also. Beautiful stain glass, mostly traditional, but also some really wonderful comtemporary windows.

Great place to sit, meditate and worship during noontime hours, M-F. Beautiful sacred art, long history. Welcoming worship on Sundays...diverse and open congregation with world class choir. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting the Motor City. Ask for a tour! Guides or office staff are usually available, even during the week.

If you appreciate amazing architecture, the Cathedral Church at St. Paul will not disappoint. The stained glass windows alone are enough to take your breath away. It is not difficult to be swept away into an attitude of worshipping the Almighty in this beautiful place, a reflection of His glory!

Went with visitors to check out the art and architecture. Gorgeous space. They have organ and choir concerts throughout the year that look amazing!

A Modern version of an old world cathedral. While it is lofty and beautiful the acoustics aren't the best. You have to rely on the speaker system to hear the mass and very few people can actual see the altar. If you don't need to see the preist durting mass to feel connected then you will like mass here.

Plenty of parking in a new, clean and safe parking in the lot next to the church.

Thank you for your review but we are wondering if you might have written about Blessed Sacrament, the Roman Catholic Cathedral?
