Stopped at the park on our way to Manistique. The kids playground is AMAZING! Heck even us, the parents, had fun on it. The only complaint I have is was the fit the kids had when they had to leave.

This park is lovely, the crown-jewel of Escanaba! It is spacious and includes playgrounds, a band shell, disc golf, and lots of room to run, walk, and play. Great spot to have lunch or enjoy the sun.

What a great park, I can't wait to come back in the summer. We saw close to a hundred ice shanties. The park is huge and full of things to see.

This is a really nice park. It's located right along Lake Michigan (unfortunately, you can see the water treatment plant and some shipping yards from many parts of the park.) There's plenty to do here - bike and kayak rentals, disc golf, tennis, picnicking, and...More

I don't think dogs are allowed on the guarded part of the beach but they are allowed in the rest of the park as long as they are under control and cleaned up after. And there is plenty of beach that is unguarded.
