Nice museum and shopping here. Stopped here while raining one day and glad we did. It's definitely worth the stop.

Sun shining, elk relaxing on other side of fence. See amazing animals right in the city! Easy to find, clean area.

This is a super cute place to take your children or to spend a fun afternoon learning new facts and information about Michigan wildlife. The gift shop is super cute too!

I know...a tourist trap you are thinking, but it was actually pretty fun! Much bigger than expected, lots of Michigan animals to see and learn about, a pretty extensive gift shop, and lots of good fudge. It's one of those things worth preserving through the years.

This was so much fun to do with my 3 yr old grandson. The owners /staff are so incredibly friendly. The exhibits were great! And the gift shop was huge and nice . They had a fudge bar too that was great! Not slit going on in Gaylord but the should be at the very top of families list.

There's about every mammal smaller than a rhino, and the owls and some raptors can be seen close up, which is unlikely in an aviary. Authentic sound of the animals add greatly to the attraction. There's also fudge made in the store, and beverages; also a huge gift shop, stocked with all kinds of souvenirs, clothes, hats, and name brand... More

Really enjoyed this stop. Free entry. The museum has an impressive number of taxidermy specimens. They are placed in a series of dioramas with brief descriptions. Nice gift shop in front with the museum in back.

Stopped at call of the wild to do some shopping and go mini golfing at the Bavarian falls. Met the owners daughter she was so informative I have lived in Michigan all my life but she taught me so much about rocks in the state. Make sure you asked about pudding rocks and golf next door to see them.

Thank Pamela F
