We spent Labor Day weekend in Grand Haven (rented a great house in VRBO (ID#3495870). Enjoyed some perfect waves and sunsets. Volleyball nets available, as well. Beautiful beach and we can't wait to go back.

Lovely park, clean, sandy beaches, asphalt camp ground...which seems a little odd to me. Rest rooms, food trucks available.

This State Park has a wide open beach with lots of parking. Nice place to spend the day with the family. If you happen to be there are at night the sunsets are brillant.

The state park fee is $9 for the day unless you bought the state park pass with your license plate renewal for Michigan. Parking within is no charge. There is limited parking on the street.
