Saw Bill Engvall at the Demos Performance Hall. Sound and sight lines are excellent. Fully stocked multiple bars in the lobby are a nice addition. Parking is plentiful across Monroe St. in either the Government or Fifth Third lots. Parking was very slow exiting the lots as many patrons could not figure out the ticketing system.

Been there every February for the last 6 or 7 years for an industry event, A great spacious place that can practically accommodate anything with great architecture. I have taught classes in many different rooms during the years and everyone of the were excellent for a classroom setting.

The Performance Hall is huge and with outstanding lobby areas. A great place to see a show or musical performance. The skywalk connecting it to 3 major hotels is perfect in bad or cold weather.

Went to the Kids and Family expo with several students. It's good meeting space. But the expo itself was LOUD. Not for teens. Although great for ages 4- 11. They had zipline, bounce house and a few other items of interest. It would be overstimulation for younger than 4. They had characters around the place which was a nice touch.... More

Besides hosting Artprize, this venue hosts all of the mid size events in West Michigan and does a great job. After Artprize, the food and wine festival is my second favorite event this venue hosts. Of course they have multiple craft shows, car shows etc. Parking is easy and the facility itself is immaculate.

I attended a conference here in June 2016. I was impressed by the facility, which was well laid out, and made it easy to travel from one session to another. The facility has easy access to the river walk, and there are numerous restaurants and hotels in the area. Just watch out for the red winged blackbirds!

DeVos Place includes a good theater with good acoustics. The only problem with the theater is that it has these weird rows that go completely across the span of the theater with no central isle. However, the seats have adequate leg room so it's not too hard to always have to stand up to let people by you. It's a... More
