Great venue!

We've seen several shows at Van Andel over the years. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and concessions are always well-staffed. Clean facilities and convenient parking.

This arena was built as a hockey rink. So, the acoustics aren't the best for enjoying your finer musical notes. Pretty good for a rock concert, though. The place is well maintained, and the beer and eats are decent.

We find ourselves here at least twice a month between hockey games, concerts, and the occasional graduation ceremony. This is an excellent venue and one of the nicer ones I've been in. Seating--I've yet to find a single bad seat in the entire place (I've been switching up my seating location for over seven years). Upper bowl seats are the... More

We are Chicago Wolves fans and went to see them play in Grand Rapids. This arena seemed a little nicer (and smaller) than the United Center in Chicago. Located near many restaurants and plenty of free or cheap parking (also better than the United Center). We'd visit again!

This is Grand Rapid's large arena showplace. It seats ~12,000 and we've seen it configured for rock, hockey, and graduations. It handles everything you would expect of a large arena. It's consistently ranked as one of the nation's top 5 mid sized venues. There is good public transit and plenty of parking garages/decks/ramps as well as outdoor lots within a... More

Have been here several times and enjoyed every time. Nice sized theater, not so big that you feel lost. All seats are great and they have great performances

Located in the heart of sprawling entertainment and dining in downtown Grand Rapids, The Van Andel Arena is a top 10 world wide concert venue year in and year out. Home to the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team. The acoustics were designed for live concerts as well. The most recent show I saw there was Paul McCartney. I live in... More

We usually do 2-3 concerts a year and you are hard pressed to have a bad seat. The same for Gryffins tickets as the arena is done really well. My only complaint is the lack of parking, but that's a GR thing and not the Arena. Find an event you want to see as this is the venue to see... More

Van Andel Arena is my preferred location to attend a sporting event, concert or other event. Parking is directly across the street and police are always at the corner to ensure pedestrian safety. The arena staff are quick to scan event tickets so there is little to no waiting to enter the facility. The seats are comfortable and spacious. I... More
